What is the comic rated?
The comic is meant for mature audiences due to violence (the plot is about a scifi tournament game that involves fighting and weapons), substances (alcohol and fictitious drugs), gambling, nudity, and other adult or sexual themes.

How long is the Construkt series?
This campaign is for the first issue, if you are newer to comic jargon - an issue is like an “episode”. For Construkt, each issue is 2-3 chapters, easily 30-40 pages on average. I have Volume One (a volume is a collection of issues), completely written and expect to have 4 complete issues from that Volume. So hopefully, more Kickstarters to continue the series! I have started writing Volume Two, and I won’t know until I finish that whether or not it makes sense to continue into a third.

What other statues does 2Scale Studio have?
Rhylee Amateur v1 is the first official statue being produced by 2Scale Studio. Any remaining copies not pledged in the campaign will be available after the campaign (at a slightly increased price) until it is sold out. I expect to have another Construkt statue available with Issue #2. All statues from 2Scale Studio will be limited and are meant to be special edition collectibles.

What is 2Scale Studio?
2Scale Studio is a collectible statue and publishing company producing original statues, and partnering with indie comics to make epic collectibles.
We make our own IP, like Construkt, then bring it to life through statues, merch, and other experiences that allow others to immerse themselves in that world. The hope is to do the same for indie creators like 2D artists or other indie comic publishers that do not have the skills, knowledge, or equipment to produce collectibles of their own.

How are statue prices set?
Producing statues, especially in such limited runs, is expensive. The statue starts with 2D illustration work, and then was digitally sculpted with high detail for about two months. In addition to the creation of the sculpt, work went into slicing and test printing, prototyping, and planning for each color palette.
Each unit(statue) requires premium resin and various consumables to produce such as gallons of IPA, rags, sanding tools, and more. Time is then spent post-processing and preparing each statue for paint, which involves more sanding, putty work, epoxy, etc. Once a statue is ready, it then is hand-painted which varies based on scheme, but involves detailing each section and also going back to each statue for application of the varnish. In addition to the labor, this stage incurs costs from paint and other consumables like diluting agents.
In addition to producing each statue, current pricing for the statues does not reflect all of the studio supplies (airbrushes, filters, printer tools/supplies), as well as all of the major equipment and utilities.
The unit cost and fixed costs were taken into account for a 30 copy run, and each statue is priced to reflect the minimum needed to cover only the per statue costs, with very little coverage for the larger production expenses. My hope is the people fall in the love with both the Construkt characters, and the craftsman ship of the statues, enough to want to collect more pieces from the studio in the future and justify the cost. This would allow us to properly adjust prices to continue running, and of course to expand. I’m happy to offer different scheme options that provide more flexibility in pricing for our first release, and hope that people see the value in these pieces of art.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
